Overview
Join OVG as a University Relations Program Lead to help us develop strategy, drive execution, and expand our early-career talent programs. From building strong university partnerships to managing our summer internship experience, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our intern workforce. This is a high-impact, highly visible individual contributor role ideal for someone passionate about engaging emerging talent, driving DEI partnerships, and traveling to connect with students nationwide.
This role pays an annual salary of $85,000-$95,000

This position will remain open until September 26, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the 10-week summer internship program across all OVG departments.
- Partner with internal hiring managers to ensure job descriptions are accurate and expectations are aligned with what an internship is.
- Create weekly programming including internal speaker sessions, virtual activities, and engagement events using approved vendors.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop intern-led content (e.g., TikTok takeovers, social media reels, Instagram Stories).
- Ensure intern swag is ordered and delivered before the program start date.
- Regularly check in with interns to ensure meaningful experiences, not just busy work.
- Lead virtual meetings and engagement touchpoints with confidence.
- Build strategic relationships with target universities including HBCUs, HSIs, and community colleges.
- Partner with school Alumni Relations departments to host meet & greets and brand-building campus events.
- Collaborate with DEI partners to reach underrepresented student populations.
- Deliver resume workshops and info sessions to help promote OVG as an employer of choice.
- Partner with Culinary schools to hold events and develop new pipelines (e.g., Culinary Institute of America, Le Cordon Bleu, ULV).
- Explore and launch programs to source and hire veterans, people with disabilities, and AEP candidates.
- Support efforts to expand internship program globally and build international program infrastructure.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in university recruiting and campus programs.
- Strong program management experience – can build, manage, and scale internship or early-career programs.
- Strong business acumen balanced with personable and approachable communication style.
- Self-starter, goal-driven, and commitment to follow through.
- Confident public speaker with virtual meeting facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external institutions.
- Experience coordinating events and campaigns in collaboration with multiple partners, including high level C- Suite and SVP team members.
- Experience with international internship or student programs a plus.
- Must be comfortable with Travel 50–70% to attend career fairs, job expos, and on-campus events.
