Overview

The Suite Attendant is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests in premium suites during events at Grand Prairie Theatre. This position prepares suites before events, serves food and beverages, responds to guest requests, replenishes items as needed, and maintains a clean and organized suite throughout the event. The Suite Attendant works with the food and beverage team to provide guests with a positive experience from arrival through the end of the event.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00

Responsibilities

  • Set up assigned suites before events, including food, beverages, plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies.
  • Review and prepare pre-event food and beverage orders.
  • Greet suite guests and provide food and beverage service throughout the event.
  • Take additional food and beverage orders as needed.
  • Replenish food, beverages, ice, utensils, condiments, and other supplies during events.
  • Monitor assigned suites and respond to guest questions, requests, or concerns.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Verify identification when required for alcohol service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of suites and service areas throughout the event.
  • Clear dishes, glassware, trash, and other items as needed.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning and resetting suites after events.
  • Communicate with supervisors, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Process guest orders or payments through the point-of-sale system when required.
  • Assist with other food and beverage duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous food service, restaurant, banquet, catering, or event experience preferred.
  • Previous serving or premium hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide guest service and communicate with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-based environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
  • Must meet applicable age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Food Handler and TABC certification may be required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
  • Ability to bend, reach, carry, and lift food, beverages, supplies, and equipment as required.
  • Must follow all company food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety policies.
