Overview
The Server is responsible for providing an outstanding level of guest service throughout the premium hospitality restaurant areas at Spruce Meadows. This includes creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering attentive and knowledgeable food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Successful candidates will thrive in fast-paced, event-driven settings and consistently deliver elevated service standards. This role requires ProServe certification and full compliance with AGCO alcohol service regulations, as well as strong communication and multitasking skills. A polished, professional demeanor and guest-first attitude are essential.
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 CAD.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality food and beverage service in restaurants.
- Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after events.
- Possess working knowledge of the venue, including policies, event layouts, and wayfinding to assist guests as needed.
- Maintain a full understanding of menu offerings and bar offerings.
- Collaborate with BOH & FOH teams to coordinate service.
- Support pre-event setup and post-event breakdown.
- Communicate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Uphold all company standards for professionalism, cleanliness, and guest service.
- Adhere to ProServe and AGCO alcohol service standards, including ID verification and safe service practices.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of serving experience in a restaurant, premium hospitality, or event venue setting.
- Strong classic cocktail, wine, and beverage knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience in premium customer service and guest interaction.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional appearance and positive, team-first attitude.
- Must hold a valid ProServe certification.
- Ability to work in an indoor/outdoor environment.
- Available to work an event-driven schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
