Overview
A Runner supports seamless restaurant and/or suite operations by acting as the key link between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. They deliver food and beverage orders quickly and accurately, communicate priorities and special requests to kitchen staff, and ensure each table’s orders are organized and correct. This role maintains high service standards through quality checks, monitoring stock and cleanliness in service areas, and resolving any order issues efficiently. The runner contributes to a smooth, guest‑focused dining experience while assisting bartenders, servers, and management as needed.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.60-$19.00 CAD

Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders and servers by delivering food and beverage orders to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
- Communicate food orders to kitchen staff while paying attention to priorities and special requests and food allergies.
- Maintain orders according to each table and food ticket.
- Ensure flawless service and quality assurance.
- Monitor stock levels and cleanliness of service and prep areas.
- Resolve order discrepancies quickly and effectively.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in a similar setting.
- Physical ability to carry plates and trays continuously during the shift.
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- An aptitude for identifying and assessing details.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven to perform well under pressure; manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Work collaboratively with the entire F&B team to ensure consistency and standardization of department requirements.
