Runner | Part-Time | SoFi Center
Overview
The Runner supports all food and beverage operations at the SoFi Center for each TGL season and year-round private events. This position assists with event setup, food and beverage delivery, restocking, cleanup, and breakdown to ensure the Suites, Concessions, and Bar operations have the supplies and support needed for successful service. The Runner must be professional, dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment. The Runner must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 - $17.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
- Set up suites, bars, concessions, and other catering service areas according to event requirements and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Prepare event spaces prior to each event, ensuring all food, beverage, supplies, and equipment are properly stocked and service areas are clean and organized.
- Assist Suite Attendants, Concessions Workers, and Bartenders with event service and operational needs.
- Set tables, reservations, and other guest service areas as required.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guests, tables, and suites in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist Bartenders with retrieving and restocking beverages, supplies, and other items needed throughout the event.
- Communicate food orders, replenishment needs, and other service requests to the appropriate team members to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of suites, bars, catering areas, and service equipment throughout the event.
- Break down and clean food service areas and equipment following each event and return equipment to its proper storage location.
- Maintain all required health, safety, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive, professional, and helpful attitude and anticipating guest needs.
- Maintain the security and proper handling of company property, equipment, products, and other assets.
- Maintain reliable attendance and meet company attendance standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or OVG management to support successful event operations and customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service role preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
- Must be able to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to lift heavy objects frequently.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
