Overview

Oak View Group is searching for a Restaurant Host to join our team at an Exclusive Members Only Club fine dining Restaurant known as The Ra Ra Room by Major Food Group and Oak View Group in downtown Phoenix. This fine dining concept is hiring experienced hospitality professionals with a strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 to $20.00

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until October 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, and informs them of special catches and soups.
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus at the host area.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Full-time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift heavy objects.
• Proficient or able to learn computer skills, including POS systems, Seven Rooms, Word, and Excel.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
