Overview
The Restaurant Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for guests. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintains bar operations, and supports restaurant service standards. The Restaurant Bartender combines beverage expertise, hospitality, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives outstanding service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, specialty beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service to guests seated at the bar and within designated service areas.
- Make menu and beverage recommendations and answer guest questions regarding food and drink offerings.
- Verify guest age and comply with all responsible alcohol service laws and regulations.
- Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the bar area at all times.
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to supervisors.
- Collaborate with servers, hosts, culinary staff, and management to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety standards.
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, hotel, resort, lounge, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math, cash handling, and POS system experience.
- Alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain it upon hire.
- Food handler certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Ability to transport beverage products, glassware, and supplies safely.
