The Receiver is responsible for managing the intake, inspection, and distribution of all food, beverage, and operational deliveries within a high-volume event environment at the Enercare Centre. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all incoming products are accurate, high quality, and aligned with purchase orders while supporting seamless execution across concessions, pop-ups, and catering operations. Working in a fast-paced, multi-hall venue, the Receiver coordinates closely with culinary teams, operations managers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery flow during move-in, live event days, and load-out. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large-scale inventory across multiple service locations, including pop-ups, bars, and satellite stations. The Receiver is also responsible for maintaining proper storage standards, including temperature control, product rotation, and distribution to outlets such as merchandiser fridges, BOH storage, and event-specific activations. Accuracy in documentation, adherence to food safety standards, and clear communication with internal teams are essential to success in this role. This position is key to ensuring operational readiness, minimizing product loss, and supporting consistent product availability across all food and beverage outlets during large-scale events.
