Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Projectionist to join our technical team. This individual will operate and maintain the theatre’s projection and audio-visual systems, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all screenings and events.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor digital and/or film projection equipment for screenings, performances, and special events.
- Manage sound and lighting cues related to film or multimedia presentations.
- Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of projection and AV equipment.
- Collaborate with stage management, technical staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth show operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and equipment-handling guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service to visiting filmmakers, production crews, and special guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a projectionist (digital and/or film) strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of modern digital cinema systems (DCP), playback software, and sound systems.
- Basic understanding of lighting and stage technology a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
