Parking Supervisor | Part-Time | State Farm Arena Parking
Overview
A Parking Supervisor will be responsible for the event day supervision and management of our parking & transportation operations on event days. This individual will observe, report, and carry out event-day procedures set forth by the Parking Manager. The supervisor will be asked to complete event checklists, complete event reports, and ensure efficient operation. A person who can provide valuable information and feedback regarding our parking and transportation operations to better assist the Manager & Director with the implementation of procedures would be valuable. This role will be part-time and event-based, reporting directly to the Manager of Parking.
This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00 to $24.00.

Responsibilities
- Inspect garage and parking lots several times throughout the day.
- Work closely with the parking manager throughout events to ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests.
- Assist the manager with event day operations of the garage, parking lots, and traffic flow.
- Operate/Monitor Parking Systems in our lots.
- Assist manager with enforcement of employee parking program.
- Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for the entirety of the event.
- Ensure the campus is set up and lots are ready for the event.
- Report traffic incidents in lots to the manager.
- Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations.
- Perform inventory management.
- Assist the Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints / concerns.
- Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred.
- Ability to work extended hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays, as necessary.
- Working knowledge of parking best practices.
- Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action.
- Knowledge of parking safety regulations.
- Ability to lead and give clear and concise direction.
- Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
- Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
