Overview
Reporting to the Director of Parking & Mobility, this Parking Manager position will manage day-to-day event parking, transportation at the TD Coliseum, Hamilton ON. The Parking Manager oversees all parking and transportation activities at TD Coliseum, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and superior guest service. This role manages a team of part-time parking supervisors, maintains and troubleshoots PARCS systems, and supports the Director with strategic planning, budgeting, and sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities include developing efficient procedures, implementing process improvements, managing rideshare and shuttle operations, and collaborating with technology partners to enhance traffic flow and guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader focused on efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
This role pays an annual salary of $75,000 CAD and is bonus eligible

Responsibilities
- Ensure operational excellence and high-quality service by developing and implementing efficient procedures with emphasis on continual improvement.
- Hire, develop, train, and support team of in-house part-time parking supervisors.
- Ensure all parking systems are operational
- Perform minor maintenance of all PARCS Systems (ticket jams in pay stations, repair barrier gates).
- Train designated staff on remote management of PARCS Systems.
- Inspect all parking systems/devices to ensure they are operational.
- Assist Director with creating new parking products, additional revenue streams, and reducing costs of the parking and transportation operation.
- Assist Director with working towards sustainability goals, including revenue, PARCS system, and operational audits.
- Assist with strategic planning, traffic management planning, and budgeting.
- Assist in monthly reporting efforts to the client.
- Review/analyze guest surveys and other performance measures to maximize operational performance.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence team to analyze mode of transport data, parking data, etc.
- Manage rideshare operation, coordination, and relationship with partners.
- Work with transportation technology GPS wayfinding partners (Google, Waze, Apple Maps).
- Review shuttle driver daily documentation (sign-in sheets, trip logs, pre & post checklists).
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in parking/transportation management, event management preferred.
- Knowledge of parking revenue management systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Valid driver license required.
