Overview

Reporting to the Parking Manager, this Parking Event Supervisor position will manage day-to-day event parking, transportation at TD Coliseum in Hamilton ON. The Parking Event Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive guest experience across the TD Coliseum parking facilities. This position supports the Parking Operations Manager in the day-to-day oversight of garages, parking lots, and traffic flow before, during, and after events. Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining parking areas, monitoring parking and traffic systems, and assisting with enforcement of parking policies for both employees and guests. The associate ensures all event day checklists are completed, garage and lot setups are executed according to plan, and any traffic or safety incidents are promptly reported and documented. Additionally, this role contributes to the ongoing evaluation of wayfinding signage and maintains accurate inventory of parking materials and supplies. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to TD Coliseum’s core values, prioritizes guest safety and satisfaction, and operates vehicles legally and responsibly while on property.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00 CAD

Responsibilities

  • Maintain TD Coliseum core values while working on property  
  • Must be able to legally operate vehicles 
  • Inspect garage and parking lots several times throughout day    
  • Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests 
  • Assist manager with event day operations of garage, parking lots, and traffic flow 
  • Operate/Monitor Parking systems & Park Assist 
  • Assist Manager with traffic management program
  • Assist Manager with enforcement of employee parking program and parking enforcement of all guests
  • Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for entirety of event  
  • Ensure garage/lot is set up and ready for event  
  • Report traffic incidents in lots to manager  
  • Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations 
  • Perform inventory management 
  • Assist Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquires and investigate complaints/concerns 
  • Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program  

Qualifications

  • Ability to work extended hours including mornings, nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays, as necessary.
  • Working knowledge of parking best practices.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Ability to lead, give clear and concise direction
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
  • Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred
