Overview
As a Parking Coordinator this position will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Manager of Parking and Mobility and the Assistant Parking Manager with all parking activities at the Steven Tanger Center and the Greensboro Complex as needed. The Parking Coordinator will oversee the Steven Tanger Center parking staff, who will be the first point of contact in providing a memorable first impression for all guests and employees. The role requires the ability to provide guests with direction and answering guests inquiries and/or questions. This position will also support oversight of the use of three city garages for the Steven Tanger Center performances.
This role pays an hourly rate of $21.00-$24.00

Responsibilities
- Assign and direct Part Time staff to duty areas. Recommends scheduling changes and staff assignments for Part Time employees.
- Set up traffic cones, parking signage and equipment in advance of guest arrival for events.
- Control/monitor entrance and exit of all guests and employees in and out of the parking lots.
- Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering excellent customer service and handling guests inquires and/or complaints.
- Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces while maximizing the amount of vehicles per lot, and direct guests on how to properly pay for parking when applicable.
- Recommends procedural parking changes to parking manager to improve efficiency and customer service.
- Provides regular training to Part Time staff on work procedures for traffic management and cashier/seller policies/procedures.
- Cashiering with handheld devices and limited cash handling procedures. Maintaining adequate levels of operating supplies during events.
- Monitor parking lots for safety and security of guests, employees and vehicles.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 to 2 years of parking/transportation management, event management preferred.
- A Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Experience with Two way radios and other general communications devices. General Office Equipment Parking Software.
- Experience using Park Hub is a plus.
- Provide a great customer service experience for guests, client and coworkers.
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Ability to visually observe close, distance, peripheral with or without accommodation.
- Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
