Overview
The Operations Supervisor supervises and coordinates event setup activities and operations for the facility.
This role pays an hourly rate of $19.00-$22.00

This position will remain open until October 23, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise event sets/conversions
- Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of changeover staff
- Supervise event support staff (stand-by staff, stagehands, fire panel) during events
- Assist with the daily maintenance operations of the building
- Organize all storage rooms to be in neat and working order
- Maintain all event equipment (staging, basketball equipment, etc.)
- Oversee opening or closing of facility for a move-in or move-out
- Build and Maintain Tenant Relations
- Provide support and supervision of the changeover department: event set-up and tear-down, i.e. basketball floor, stage risers, chairs, etc.
- Participate in the development and administration of the Operations Department budget; Forecasting of future funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies
- Assist in the purchasing of event equipment
- Assist in the scheduling and maintenance of approval of payroll through scheduling management program
- Provide the event manager the proper labor reports in a timely fashion
- Ensure part-time staff are working safely and efficiently and are aware of proper safety guidelines.
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and implement the work plan for facility operations
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, facility management, or another related field preferred
- Experience with facility coordination and direct employee supervision
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Strong written and oral communication skills are vital
- Ability to work beyond normal business hours as required, including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays
- Forklift and aerial lift certifications are required
