Overview

The Marketing department is looking for a creative, outgoing, hard-working, dependable, independent thinker who has the desire to work in marketing and is excited to support the BOK Center marketing initiatives. The individual will learn about marketing for a wide range of events

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $12.50.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer service skills by interacting with prospects and current clients over the phone, in the office and at events.
  • Assist with maintaining a record of BOK Center events and arena press clippings.
  • Assist with updating media and public relations contacts.
  • Support event elements including media, meet-&-greets, sponsorship elements, photo opportunities and in arena components.
  • Actively participate in marketing meetings related to proposed projects.
  • Gain an understanding of conducting demographic and psychographics research for various department projects.
  • Interact with BOK staff when working on various projects.
  • Perform a variety of event day responsibilities.
  • Gain an understanding of the key elements of event management on a large scale working with industry professionals.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, Preferably in a Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Hospitality Management program.
  • Previous digital and social media marketing experience preferred (school, internship, or professional).
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
