Overview
Working with the Athletics Marketing Staff, Marketing Assistants will have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience in sports marketing, event planning, and game day fan experience.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $14.00.

Responsibilities
- Learning to creatie and execute email campaigns
- Understand the process for developing and executing game promotions and plans
- Student interest research & data collection
- Assisting in the planning and promotion of Junior Ruckus and Ruckus
- Assisting in the Fan Engagement Operations for Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Basketball
- Learning what it takes to serve as the lead for select Olympic Sports
- Exposure to the creation and execution of email campaigns
- Learn about the development and execution of game day promotions and plans
Qualifications
- Must be a full-time student at URI and in good academic standing
- Availability to work a pre-determined number of hours per week
- Organization and Time Management skills
- General understanding of Microsoft Suite & Google Suite
- Willingness to learn
- Interest in sports (preferred but not required)
