Manager, Partnership Development | Full-Time | TD Coliseum
Overview
TD Coliseum is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Partnership Development to lead new partner acquisition efforts. This role is specifically responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth for the incoming Hamilton AHL Team playing out of TD Coliseum. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of integrated partnership sales, a developed business network in the Greater Hamilton region and a strong ability to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers.
This role pays an annual salary of $60,000-$75,000 CAD and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
- New Partner Acquisition: Lead the identification and acquisition of new corporate partners in relation to the incoming Hamilton AHL team.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy to generate new business opportunities, leveraging your existing network, cold calling new prospects and utilizing key industry insights.
- Prospect Development: Research and build a robust pipeline of potential partners in key business categories.
- Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets through strategic sponsorship sales and activation plans.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Structure partnership presentations, lead negotiations, and oversee the execution of partnership agreements in partnership with the Sponsorship Activation team to maximize value for both parties.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sponsorship Activation, Marketing, and Operations, to develop innovative sponsorship assets and activation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience/success in partnership sales or business development preferably in the sports, entertainment, or a related industry.
- Established network of relationships with key business decision-makers in the Greater Hamilton Area.
- Strong track record of closing integrated partnership deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Expertise in contract negotiations, partnership deal structuring, and sport marketing activation.
- Ability to develop and execute innovative partnership strategies that align with company’s marketing and corporate objectives.
- Excellent presentation skills leveraging storytelling, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
