Overview
The Loge Lead is a high-energy, guest-facing position responsible for overseeing day-of-event operations within assigned Loge areas at Benchmark International Arena. Loge Leads play a key role in elevating the guest experience by ensuring food and beverage service areas are properly staffed, stocked, clean, and operating efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, mobility, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment. The Loge Lead supports the Loge Management team by assigning positions, guiding staff performance, monitoring food and beverage quality, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring service areas are event-ready, and addressing guest needs. The Loge Lead is expected to maintain OVG standards while creating a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for both guests and team members. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled based on business needs.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $23.00 – $25.00.

Responsibilities
- Assign positions, provide direction to Loge staff, and guide employee performance throughout events.
- Ensure assigned Loge areas, food stations, and service areas are fully stocked, clean, organized, and event-ready.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, temperature, freshness, and presentation.
- Ensure food and beverage service is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with OVG standards.
- Monitor inventory and product levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for assigned Loge areas.
- Address guest questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Monitor staff adherence to food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Ensure employees follow proper food handling, sanitation, and service procedures.
- Report equipment, facility, or maintenance issues to management and assist in ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
- Monitor cleanliness and appearance of assigned Loge areas throughout the event.
- Assist with training and coaching employees on proper service standards, food safety, POS procedures, and guest service expectations.
- Communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Work closely with Loge Managers and other Leads to ensure smooth event operations and consistent service.
- Assist with resolving operational issues and making decisions within established guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by Managers.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in the food service, hospitality, concessions, or related industry preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and event-driven environment.
- Possess a valid alcohol and food service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, as they relate to POS transactions, cash handling, and product inventory.
- Must be able to operate a POS system and learn venue-specific POS procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support team members during high-volume events.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, food quality, and guest service.
- Ability to remain professional and composed when handling guest concerns or operational challenges.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
