Overview
Oak View Group is seeking Line Cooks to support concession stand operations at Polar Park in Worcester, MA. Line Cooks are responsible for prepping, cooking, and assembling food items in a fast-paced, high-volume concession environment while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards. This role requires the ability to work efficiently during games and events, follow established recipes and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Line Cooks will work closely with Culinary Leads and concession teams to deliver a positive guest experience and support Oak View Group’s food and beverage operations.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00

Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and assemble concession menu items according to established recipes, build sheets, and portion standards
- Execute service efficiently during high-volume game days and events while maintaining food quality and speed of service
- Operate and monitor cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, flat tops, ovens, and warmers safely and correctly
- Maintain proper food holding, cooking, and cooling temperatures in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Complete required temperature logs, production logs, and other food safety documentation as assigned
- Follow all local and state food safety regulations, Oak View Group standards, and Polar Park sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary BOH work area throughout service, including proper end-of-shift cleanup
- Communicate effectively with Culinary Leads, Stand Leads, and FOH staff to support smooth operations
- Assist with opening, restocking, and closing duties as needed for assigned concession locations
- Support additional culinary tasks and event-related needs as assigned by Culinary Leadership
Qualifications
- Previous cook or prep cook experience
- Able to operate standard kitchen equipment to including the fryers, flat top grill, convection oven.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
