Overview

The Lead Suite Bartender is responsible to oversee and execute premium beverage service across all suite operations. They provide leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional hospitality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. 

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $28.00-$34.00.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all suite bartending operations, ensuring consistent execution of beverage service and adherence to company, state, and federal alcohol service guidelines. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for bartending staff, providing direction, and on-the-job support. 
  • Follow all bar pre-shift notes, event-specific instructions, and suite menu offerings. 
  • Provide responsible and knowledgeable service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, verifying guest identification and adhering to all legal requirements. 
  • Maintain an advanced knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; provide recommendations and engage in suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience. 
  • Monitor guest behavior to identify overconsumption and take appropriate action, including communication of cut-offs and escalation to management or security when necessary. 
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, including responsibility for assigned cash banks and balancing at shift close. 
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area, ensuring all bar equipment is well-maintained and properly stored. 
  • Coordinate bar setup and breakdown, inventory restocking, and cooler organization. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support suite operations and event execution. 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years or more experience bartending. 
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a hospitality environment. 
  • Accurate cash handling skills. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours. 
  • Bartending school preferred.
