Overview
The Kitchen Supervisor oversees kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency. The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring a smooth and productive workflow. Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $25.00 CAD.
This is a seasonal role from approximately June 1, 2025- October 15, 2025.

Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen team members including cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and other kitchen personnel.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring food is prepared according to restaurant standards and timelines.
- Maintain high-quality food presentation and portioning.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper storage and handling of food.
- Monitor inventory levels of food, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure station/ department set ups and breakdowns are completed properly before and after shifts.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies to maintain a smooth operation.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health department regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Maintain accurate records of food and supply orders, as well as any incidents or accidents that occur in the kitchen.
- Communication and participation in plate- up and buffet presentation and service.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Able to legally work in Canada.
