Overview
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for pouring beer and tracking product inventory, including what hawkers take out to the stands, what is sold, and what must be recorded as waste or returned to inventory. The Hawker Room is located outdoors and is a shared space with the Culinary team. Although the room is a joint responsibility between Culinary, the Hawkers, and the Attendant, it is the Coordinator who leads the space—providing direction, communicating with departments, and ensuring smooth operations. The Coordinator is accountable for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness of the room. This role requires confidence and comfort in directing Hawkers, Culinary staff, and other team members as needed. Candidates must be able to carry up to 22 kg (50 lbs) and safely move and change kegs. The Hawker Room must never be left unattended.
This is a seasonal role from March 31, 2026 and will end on September 14, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.85-$22.00 CAD
This position will remain open until June 5, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Poors beers and builds Hawker orders.
- Responsible for maintaining and organizing 3rd Base stock and supply levels including, Dog Yard, Mucho, Rosies, Caesar and condiments.
- Able to listen and respond to assistance calls for POS issues with Hawkers.
- Implements food safe, FIFO, temperature watch protocols for all fridges located near 3rd base.
- Maintains a clean, sanitized and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
- Ensures Hawkers are following Serving it Right policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Serving It Right Certification.
- Experience in food service industry, including the ability to poor from a beer tap.
- Ability to learn to learn portable POS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
- Know how to change a keg.
- The ability to lift up to 22kg/50lbs.
