Overview

The Internal Communications & Corporate Responsibility team, as part of the People and Culture Group, is looking for a creative, curious, and detail-oriented Internal Communications & Corporate Responsibility Intern to support the execution of strategies and programs that inform, and influence our inclusive workforce and positively impact our communities. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a passion for storytelling and collaborating across departments to bring meaningful employee experiences to life. During the fall, the intern will play a key role in rolling out a modern intranet and employee app, deliver internal events, organize volunteer programs, and produce compelling content that connects and inspires our teams.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.50-$20.20

 

This position will remain open until September 5, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in internal communications, content creation, and employee engagement by supporting intranet content management, including organizing, editing, uploading, and creating new content.
  • Strengthen storytelling, writing, and content strategy skills through the development of engaging content in digital, video, and written formats to support internal storytelling including holiday messages, event recaps, and corporate initiatives.
  • Build cross-functional collaboration and project management skills by working alongside teams in marketing, PR, and social to identify potential stories, develop concepts and execute across platforms.
  • Support the planning and development of internal communications campaigns.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced communications professionals and contribute to volunteer programs and internal events that positively impact both workplace culture and local communities.
  • Help manage content calendars and track communication projects.
  • Additional communications related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written & oral) with attention to detail.
  • Strong content creation skills (digital, video, short and long format writing).
  • Strong content management and project management skills.
  • Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Graphic design and social media skills are a plus.
  • Must be able to work remotely or from Denver or New York office.
