Overview
Under supervision by the Event Operations Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor will perform various duties in connection with scheduled events. Duties will vary between facility and events. This is a position that is usually scheduled to work after normal business hours.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.50.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an extension of the Event Operations Manager during scheduled events
- Supervising and coordinate placement of Guest Services Attendants during an assigned event
- Works in conjunction with other Guest Services supervisors
- Serves as the first line for patron complaints and Guest Services Attendant concerns/issues
- Serve as ticket taker and/or usher distributing programs and escorting patrons to their appropriate seats
- Assist with last-minute pre-event needs, such as setting-up, decorating, finding materials, etc
- Provide special accommodations for wheelchairs and other physically challenged patrons, senior citizens, students and groups
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form
- Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
- High school diploma or G.E.D. and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
