Overview

To manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the Group Sales Department for Blue FCU Arena; complete oversight of The Home Run Bar & Grill sales and booking; and to provide highly responsible staff assistance to higher-level management staff. Hourly plus commision. 

 

This role will pay a salary of $19.23 to $24.04.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, implement, and execute all goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of all Group Sales programs and activities
  • Assist the Director of Booking with the sales team efforts at the facility
  • Develop and implement event group sales plans
  • Track and manage daily, weekly, monthly sales reports and provide regular updates to management team
  • Create sales goals, on a per event basis, for Group Sales department & Event Rental Spaces
  • Plan and coordinate special events for businesses, fans, and all applicable customers
  • Qualify contacts and large groups through e-mail database system
  • Foster and develop new qualified client relationships
  • Handle day-to-day group sales & arena sales operations: fielding inbound calls, conducting outbound call blocks, and scheduling off site meetings with clients
  • Process all group ticket orders via AXS ticketing system
  • Develop strategy, coordinate bookings, and execute contracts for a variety of user groups (internal and external) for facility events occurring inside The Home Run Bar & Grill
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • College Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality/Sports Management, Business or a related field is preferred
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous event or entertainment marketing experience a plus
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
  • Flexible-must be available to work evenings, weekends, and all event days as assigned
  • Team player who is creative and a proactive problem solver
  • Ticketing experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Willingness to work the hours necessary to meet sales goals
