Overview
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is a dual role that will support concession operation (60%) as well as the office management (40%). Within concessions the F&B Operations Manager must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency & operation/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of each event. Responsibilities include inventory controls, PO logs, compliance with alcohol service policies, cleaning, customer service, employee/volunteer training & supervision, troubleshooting, event preparation, closing duties, food preparation/safety & any other tasks assigned by the General Manager.
Within office management, they F&B Operations Manager will support the GM & AGM with sales, billing & payment documentation, purchase order/invoice tracking & submission, employee & NPO permit & license tracking, flash reports & other duties as assigned.
This role pays an annual salary of $51,000-$52,000

Responsibilities
- Support to ensure proper set-up & operations of concession locations prio to doors. Responsibilities may include: stocking stands prior to events (as needed, communicate event specific promotions, ensuring sanitation measures are being met, verifying that each location is fully operationl & meeting company standards, ascertaining levels of food production has been met based on projected attendance.
- Assist in providing oversight of hourly concession employees & non-profit groups.
- Work within POS system to ensure accurate pricing, inventory control & troubleshooting
- Manage & oversee concession operation s& locations before, during & after the event. Will support with closing duties/procedures including post-event reconciliation & reporting.
- Ability to effectively oversee a large volume of inventory, order prduct & managing a high volunte of sales.
- Build & submit sales, billing & payment reports weekly by using POS sales information & submit to corporate via NetSuite.
- Manage invoices by maintaining PO log & submitting invoices for payment.
- Assist with tracking & documenting accounts receivable.
- Ensure all employees are following proper procedures & are maintaining a compliant work environment in accordance with company standards & local, state & federal laws, including but not limited to food & safety compliance, building & guest safety, emergency situations & employee relations.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Degree requirement may be substituted for fthree or more years’ experience in Concessions Supervision, Food & Beverage Management or related position.
- Demonstrated professional experience with computer applications including MS Office Suite along with experience learning new web-based software; excellent typing/written skills with attention to detail.
- Solid working experience with POS systems.
- Ability to use sound judgement to make business/operation decisions quickly & under pressure/
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management & guests in a clear, professional & courteous manner.
- Able to work independently & lead in a team, fast paced, event driven environment.
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. pertaining to concession operations.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task & effectively prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends & long hours.
- Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
- Nationally recognized food service sanitation training course certification preferred
- Nationally recognized alcohol service training course certification preferred
