Overview
The Facility Technician/Helper performs semi-skilled work in a variety of trades, and the operation of automotive, mechanical, electrical and air conditioning equipment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.50-$19.50(per CBA).
Benefits as per the union agreement.
This position will remain open until September 12, 2025.

While performing the responsibilities of the Facility Technician/Helper, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is constantly required to exert various types of physical exertion, such as prolonged reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

The Facility Technician/Helper works in indoor and outdoor work settings with mild to adverse exposure to environmental hazards. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders and walk long distances to access all areas of the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to loud. Incumbents in this position work in varying settings and will be subject to noise and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odor, dust, etc.

This position will be provided with a uniform. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times. Appropriate grooming and attire are required to uphold the standards of dignity and decorum expected by the public.
