Overview
This Event Staff role will support events approximately 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and an understanding of the physical nature of the position.
This is a seasonal role from May 1, 2026 and will end on October 31, 2026.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00
This position will remain open until July 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for special events, such as traffic management and parking management.
- Set up & take down of equipment for special events.
- Liaise with clients, addressing queries, concerns or complaints.
- Monitor the safety of all activities and programs and respond to any safety concerns.
- Maintain a strong customer-focused approached when responding to general inquiries and resolving any conflicts.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently, and in a team environment.
- Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work long hours, outdoors, and in inclement weather.
- Ability to routinely lift heavy equipment.
