Overview
We are hiring for Event Security Supervisor positions. The Event Security Supervisor reports to the Manager of Security and is primarily responsible for security operations for UBS Arena events. The Supervisor is responsible for event and venue security and ensuring all operational activities and oversight of event security officers are effective and meet efficiency and customer satisfaction requirements.
This role pays an hourly rate of $29.75

This position will remain open until August 21, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing security to public attendees at a ticketed event or an event open to the public and overseeing event security officers.
- Will be expected to work any post assigned to them.
- Use provided communication devices such as two-way radios.
- Oversee and operate detective devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited items into UBS Arena.
- Write reports to document incidents involving guests, employees, and unusual occurrences.
- Assist in training and coaching all part-time security officers.
- Build cross-functional relationships within the organization and with partners.
- Switch gears on a moment’s notice and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Take ownership of your work and of your projects from start to finish with keen attention to detail.

Qualifications
- Must have a demonstrated ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Must have an active NYS Security License.
- Ability and interpersonal skills to effectively service guests, clients, and employees.
- Must be a team player and self-motivator.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while focusing on the solutions in every case.
