Overview
The Event Security position is responsible for ensuring safety and security for all events. The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.
Work Environment
This position is on-site at the Saenger Theatre supporting the Mobile Convention Center as needed. This position requires flexible availability to support events, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. Regular attendance and a professional presence are essential.
This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$16.50

Responsibilities
- Performs all event security duties as assigned.
- Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
- Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
- Provides regular security functions within the Saenger Theatre and related areas, prior to, during and after all events.
- When requested, provide escorts of people to and from locations within the Theatre facility.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
