Overview
The Electrician supports the operation, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems throughout the arena and campus. Responsibilities include event power distribution, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and support of capital and operational projects.
As a live entertainment venue operating year-round, this role supports concerts, sporting events, and building operations while ensuring electrical infrastructure remains reliable and operational.
This role pays an hourly rate of $64.25 (per CBA).

Responsibilities
Event Operations:
- Install and remove temporary feeder cables from arena electrical distribution panels.
- Provide power distribution for concerts, sporting events, and special events.
- Support Back of House, dressing room, and catering power distribution.
- Install outdoor event feeder cables and temporary power.
- Activate concourse power for bars, merchandise locations, and sponsor activations.
- Coordinate with touring electricians and production teams during load-ins and load-outs.
Building Operations & Maintenance:
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical distribution systems, panels, transformers, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems supporting HVAC equipment, motors, pumps, elevators, and building systems.
- Maintain interior and exterior lighting throughout the arena, plaza, and parking areas.
- Respond to service calls and electrical issues throughout the building.
Project Work:
- Support electrical installation for capital improvement projects and operational upgrades.
- Install circuits, panels, and electrical infrastructure for new spaces, equipment, and tenant improvements.
- Assist with equipment replacements including motors, drives, and electrical components.
- Support campus initiatives such as EV charging installations and infrastructure upgrades.
- Work alongside contractors during project execution while assisting with in-house electrical work when feasible.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification.
- Experience with commercial electrical systems; experience in large venues or event environments preferred.
- Ability to install and manage temporary power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and events as required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, other trades, contractors, and event production teams.
