Overview
The Dishwasher is responsible for the sanitation of all kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, dishware, glassware and silverware and disposal of trash. The Dishwasher is also responsible for the cleanliness of all back of house areas including sanitization and maintenance of equipment, shelving, tabletops, floors, walls, and more. Dishwashers will assist in pulling and staging all equipment prior to set-up, during the event and during clean-up. Dishwashers are expected to stay composed and flexible in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong initiative and teamwork to ensure event success.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $13.50

Responsibilities
- Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
- Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
- Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning.
- Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment
- Keep dish room clean and organized.
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
- Assists others in closing the kitchen.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager-on-duty.
- Bag and haul kitchen trash to appropriate area.
- Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
- Assist on plate-up, food production line as needed
- Sweep and/or scrub all floors in the kitchen and back of house areas
- Clean up spills and/or breakage on the event and kitchen floors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef, Sous-Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly manner
- Must be energetic and self-motivated
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays as required
- Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
- Ability to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Clean non-slip shoes, must say non-slip on shoe
