Overview
The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for overseeing the food & beverage serving of guests in the arena at various concessions stands, bars, and portable food & beverage locations. The successful candidates must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of this venue, the successful candidate must be comfortable working outdoors.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50 CAD and is tip eligible.
This is a seasonal role from approximately June 1st 2025- October 15th 2025.

Responsibilities
- Oversee concession stand setup, including inventory verification, equipment checks, and staff assignments
- Ensure all sanitation, safety, and operational procedures are followed prior to and during events
- Provide direction and support to stand staff and volunteers to maintain speed of service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor food production levels based on event attendance projections
- Supervise and assist with cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and accountability
- Train and mentor employees on company procedures, service standards, and best practices
- Support Premium Services operations and assist with event-related needs as directed
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment; report safety concerns and incidents immediately
- Serve as a role model by maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high service standards
- Supervise responsible alcohol service, including ID checks and monitoring guest consumption
- Assist with order taking, POS transactions, guest interaction, and food delivery when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and operability of all equipment and workspaces
- Enforce company policies and procedures while upholding venue standards
- Support employee relations including coaching, corrective action, and documentation
- Assist with inventory, training sessions, and other special projects as needed
Qualifications
- At Least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment
- Ability to lead and supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including co-workers, customers and management which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate and Safe Serve Certificate
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
