Overview

The Concessions Bartender is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality beverage service to guests during the Valero Texas Open. This role operates in a high-volume, outdoor event environment and plays a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and event standards.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $9.00 and is tip eligible.

 

This is a seasonal role from March 27, 2026 and will end on July 27, 2026.

 

This position will remain open until June 26, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company and event standards.
  • Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws.
  • Operate POS systems, handle cash/credit transactions, and maintain accurate cash control.
  • Set up, maintain, and break down concession bar areas before, during, and after events.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Monitor guest consumption and address issues professionally and safely.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including outdoor/heat safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Collaborate with concessions, culinary, and operations teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Adhere to event policies, uniform standards, and service expectations.

Qualifications

  • Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
  • Previous bartending, concessions, or event experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings, and multi-day events.
  • TABC or alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain).
