Overview
The Concessions Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests during the Biltmore Championship. This position provides customer service, processes transactions, maintains the bar area, and follows all company and alcohol-service policies.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.
This is a seasonal role from September 14, 2026, and will end on September 20, 2026.
This position will remain open until September 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Provide customer service to guests throughout the event.
- Verify identification and follow all alcohol-service requirements.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized concession/bar area.
- Restock beverages, ice, cups, and other supplies as needed.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service procedures.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding inventory, guest concerns, or operational needs.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work with team members to provide efficient service during busy event periods.
Qualifications
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Previous bartending, concessions, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move supplies as needed.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Must be available to work scheduled event dates, including evenings and the weekend as needed.
- Must obtain or maintain any required alcohol-service certification based on local requirements.
