Overview

The Concessions Worker is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverage items to guests in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This role focuses on delivering quality food, excellent guest service, and maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas. The position requires consistent attendance and adherence to all company policies and procedures.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00

Responsibilities

  • Process guest transactions by taking orders, assembling items, and completing sales using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards for quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Learn and operate concession equipment including grills, deep-vat fryers, steamers, and ovens.
  • Maintain appropriate stock and supply levels and communicate low inventory items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
  • Provide friendly, professional service by listening to and addressing guest questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including proper disposal of trash and cleaning of dishes and equipment.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and verify guest identification in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Follow all sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous food service experience (three months or more) preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand food orders, menus, and product labels in English.
  • Ability to learn and operate a POS (Point-of-Sale) system.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and high-volume environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and respectful approach toward guests, coworkers, managers, and volunteers.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
