Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Concessions Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for supervising all concession operations throughout the SOEC Complex, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, strong financial performance, and effective team supervision during events. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead concession operations at one of British Columbia’s premier event destinations. From sold-out concerts and hockey games to community events and tournaments, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding food and beverage experiences for thousands of guests each year. The Concessions Supervisor also acts as a floor supervisor in support of Penticton Trade and Convention Centre Events.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00-$31.00 CAD

Responsibilities
- Supervise all concession operations for sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, and other venue activities.
- Lead and supervise concessions and frontline staff.
- Ensure concession locations are fully stocked, staffed, and operationally prepared for all events.
- Monitor food quality, product presentation, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product distribution to concession stands.
- Assists with controlling labor costs, food costs, and inventory variances while helping achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to develop menu offerings, promotions, and seasonal products.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safe standards, liquor regulations, health regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Handle guest concerns and provide prompt resolution to maintain positive guest experiences.
- Support cash handling procedures, POS system management, and end-of-event reporting.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of concessions, food service, hospitality, or venue management experience.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in a high-volume food service environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Food Safe certification required.
- Serving It Right certification required.
- Strong communication skills.
