Overview
The Catering Bartender at a golf tournament is responsible for providing professional, friendly, and efficient beverage service to guests in an outdoor, high-volume event setting. This role supports the overall guest experience by delivering timely service while maintaining strict compliance with alcohol service regulations and tournament standards.
This is a seasonal role from February 20, 2026 and will end on June 20, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00
This position will remain open until May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and event guidelines.
- Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and local laws.
- Operate POS systems accurately, process cash and credit transactions, and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Set up, maintain, and break down bar stations throughout the tournament.
- Keep bar areas clean, organized, and fully stocked during event hours.
- Monitor guest consumption and address any service issues professionally.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies, including outdoor and heat-related safety protocols.
- Provide courteous, efficient service while managing high guest volume.
- Work collaboratively with concessions, culinary, and event operations teams.
- Adhere to tournament rules, dress code standards, and customer service expectations.
Qualifications
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Prior bartending, concessions, or special event experience preferred.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, including prolonged standing and walking.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and multi-day events.
- Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TABC, ServSafe Alcohol) or willingness to obtain.
