Overview

The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality beverage service during the Insperity Golf Tournament. This role requires working in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment while delivering excellent customer service to guests. The bartender will prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure compliance with all alcohol service and safety regulations.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00

This is a seasonal role from May 6, 2026, and will end on May 31, 2026.

This position will remain open until May 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all guests.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Set up and break down bar stations before and after the event.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow all company policies, health and safety guidelines, and local alcohol regulations.
• Handle cashless transactions and operate POS systems as required.
• Work collaboratively with barbacks, supervisors, and event staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic drink recipes and bar operations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects often.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service (per Texas law).
• TABC certification required (or ability to obtain prior to event).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.
