Overview
The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service at catered events while delivering outstanding customer service to guests. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintains a clean and organized bar area, verifies guest identification when necessary, and follows all company policies and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Catering Bartenders help create a positive guest experience while supporting the overall success of each event.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50
This is a seasonal role from July 6, 2026, and will end on July 12, 2026.
This position will remain open until July 12, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests in a courteous and positive manner.
- Verify guest identification and serve alcohol in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Set up, stock, and break down bar stations before, during, and after events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event.
- Monitor beverage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Process guest transactions accurately when required.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Work closely with event staff to ensure efficient service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and standard mixed drinks.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
- TABC certification (or state-required alcohol service certification) preferred or required based on location.
