Overview
The Golf Tournament Catering Barback supports event operations by assisting with setup, food service support, and breakdown during golf tournaments. This role ensures catering areas remain clean, organized, and stocked so the front-of-house team can provide excellent service to guests.
This is a seasonal role from February 23, 2025 and will end on June 23, 2026.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $22.50
This position will remain open until April 24, 2026.
Responsibilities
Assist with event setup and breakdown (tables, tents, catering equipment)
Stock and replenish food, beverages, ice, utensils, and supplies
Support servers and bartenders as needed during service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering and service areas
Assist with trash removal and recycling
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Provide courteous support to guests when appropriate
Perform other duties as assigned by the catering supervisor
Qualifications
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods
Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and long shifts
Reliable transportation
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Prior catering, banquet, or event experience preferred (not required)
Must be able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
