Overview
The Catering Attendant is responsible for serving food and beverage products to preferred guests in the venue during events. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be familiar with and follow all state and company alcohol service policies. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
- Arranges tables and decorations.
- Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Responsible for replacing tableware and linens as necessary.
- Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
- Recommends certain menu items and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared.
- Assists in setting up functions, including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware.
- Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed.
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a food & beverage or customer service role.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
