Overview
The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $16.00-$18.00

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and process payments utilizing the cash register to enter orders and complete the transaction by using cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the dining room and cashier station, including but not limited disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
- Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 or over
- Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic math skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including but not limited to weekends and holidays
