Overview
The Buffet Attendant supports food service operations during music festivals by ensuring buffet stations are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing. This role is responsible for maintaining food safety standards, assisting guests with buffet selections, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This is a seasonal role from September 15, 2025 and will end on January 1, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00
This position will remain open until December 19, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and replenish buffet stations throughout the event.
- Ensure food is presented neatly and attractively according to service standards.
- Monitor food levels and communicate with kitchen staff when items need to be replenished.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Keep buffet areas clean, organized, and free of spills or hazards.
- Assist guests by answering questions and providing guidance on buffet offerings.
- Break down and clean buffet stations after service.
- Support the overall food & beverage team as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior food service, catering, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume festival environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during festival events.
