Overview
Under the supervision of the Box Office Director of Ticketing, the Box Office Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the box office. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining ticketing procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and overseeing box office operations in the absence of the Director. The Supervisor contributes to a positive patron experience while ensuring accuracy and accountability in all ticketing functions.
This role pays an hourly rate of $19.00-$22.00 CAD

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate daily records of ticketing sales transactions, including daily sales reports, deposits, and cash handling.
Manage the box office window and phone lines during assigned shifts, providing excellent customer service to patrons.
Process ticket sales and manage event inventory using the Paciolan ticketing system.
Assist in enforcing building policies and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
Plan and coordinate monthly employee schedules for part-time box office staff in alignment with the event calendar.
Maintain and monitor event setup and details within the back-office functionality of the Paciolan system.
Gain insight into the sports and entertainment industry through hands-on experience in box office operations.
Qualifications
Experience in an office setting or similar environment preferred.
Ability to perform effectively under stressful or high-pressure situations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
Capable of coordinating box office operations and procedures with other staff and departments.
Flexible availability to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event scheduling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to safely and accurately handle and reconcile large sums of money.
Professional and courteous demeanor, with the ability to handle difficult situations tactfully when interacting with the public and promoters.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, event promoters, and patrons.
Proficiency in operating modern office equipment, including computers and ticketing software (Paciolan experience is an asset).
