Overview
The Box Office & Marketing Manager will oversee the venue ticketing system and marketing strategies for the venue and events.
This role pays an annual salary of $45,000-$55,000.

Responsibilities
- Administration and management of computerized ticket systems from point of event booking through event settlement.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for venue, aligning with overall business objectives, audience demographics, and revenue goals.
- Lead brand awareness, ticket sales, and event attendance through targeted campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, traditional advertising, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with venue management, event promoters, and internal stakeholders to identify strategic marketing opportunities, create compelling messaging, and coordinate promotional efforts for a diverse range of events, including concerts, conventions, sporting events, theatrical performances, and community gatherings.
- Utilize data analytics and market research to evaluate campaign performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies and maximize ROI.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to achieve marketing objectives while ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.
- Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, sponsors, and community partners to amplify marketing efforts, secure promotional opportunities, and enhance the venues' visibility and reputation within the local and regional market.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify innovative marketing tactics, capitalize on market opportunities, and maintain a competitive edge in the entertainment industry.
- Input and retrieve data from ticketing system.
- Maintains contact with the event promoter from initial booking through event settlement.
- Configures and re-configures the Venues to meet specifications set forth by the Event Promoter and changes to anticipated attendance.
- Work with promoters to develop scaling and ticket pricing for events to include presales, VIP Packages, auctions, flexible pricing and ticket exchange.
- Monitor sales and communicate sales patterns to promoter to maximize sales and potential revenue as well as ensure that tickets sales for the event are distributed throughout all available seats.
- Configures and reconfigures venues to achieve a full house appearance and maximize sightlines.
- Communicate with internal staff with regard to event sales to comply with established policies and procedures.
- Cash flow management for Box Office.
- Supervises and oversees Box-Office part-time staff.
- Provide daily reporting as well as event receipts reports to assist with event posting and balancing to comply with established policies and procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by General Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or better from an accredited college or university with major coursework in marketing, public relations, business administration or other related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in marketing/ ticketing required, preferably with a sports facility, convention center, performing arts facility or other multi-purpose public assembly facility.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, graphic design, PowerPoint and Internet software.
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges using website analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to project a professional manner and appearance, and communicate effectively with clients, senior management, staff and the general public.
- Digital expertise with various digital channels including website optimization, social media, and data acquisition.
