Overview
The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced festival environment. This role ensures accurate cash handling, maintains a clean and organized bar area, and upholds all alcohol service laws and safety regulations.
This is a seasonal role from September 17, 2025 and will end on January 17, 2026.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible
This position will remain open until December 19, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately
- Check IDs and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations
- Provide excellent customer service while engaging with festival guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Restock supplies, kegs, and product as needed throughout shifts
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately; follow cash-handling policies
- Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and managers to ensure efficient service
- Follow all company, venue, and festival safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred; festival, event, or high-volume setting a plus
- TABC (or state-equivalent) certification required
- Strong knowledge of drink preparation and mixology basics
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
