Overview
The Bartender is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to guests attending Cirque Luzia performances. This role includes preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, operating the POS system, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring all alcohol service is compliant with venue and state regulations. Bartenders must deliver excellent guest service in a high-volume, fast-paced entertainment environment.
This is a seasonal role from February 12, 2026 and will end on June 12, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $10.98-$15.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests and taking beverage orders quickly and accurately.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to venue recipes and standards.
Verify guest age and check valid identification to ensure legal alcohol service.
Operate POS system accurately, handle cash/credit transactions, and issue receipts.
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
Restock liquor, beer, wine, ice, cups, garnishes, and mixers as needed.
Follow proper portion control and responsible alcohol service practices.
Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning, breaking down stations, and securing alcohol.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth service operations.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain professionalism while working during high guest volume periods (pre-show, intermission, post-show).
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Previous bartending experience preferred (high-volume experience strongly preferred).
Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and bar operations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on show schedule.
TABC/ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred (or must obtain upon hire).
