Overview

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a fast-paced venue environment. This role ensures excellent customer service, maintains a clean and organized bar, and follows all alcohol service and safety guidelines to create a positive guest experience.

This role pays an hourly rate of $2.13-$5.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages accurately and efficiently according to standard recipes.
• Provide friendly, professional service and engage with guests in a positive manner.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Check guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Restock bar supplies, including liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown.
• Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in high-volume or event settings.
• Knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol service practices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Ability to lift up heavy objects as needed.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service (based on state laws).
