Overview
The Bartender is responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining high-quality beverage service at catered events. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and adherence to all alcohol service laws and company standards. The Bartender ensures that guests enjoy a professional, efficient, and safe beverage experience while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 to $15.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities
- Set up and break down bar service areas for catered events, including stocking beverages, glassware, garnishes, and necessary equipment.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company and event specifications.
- Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and local regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, tools, and service equipment in accordance with food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Handle credit card transactions and reconcile sales at the end of each event when required.
- Collaborate with catering team members to ensure smooth service flow and timely guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to guest needs, questions, or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow company policies regarding responsible service, safety, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years bartending experience, preferably in a catering, banquet, or high-volume event setting.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment operation.
- Current alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred as well as Food Handlers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
